How To Remove Stains From Your Mattress?

In removing stains when you are cleaning your mattress, you have to use a pressing motion to lift the stain to prevent the stain from further damaging more areas. Fresh protein stains can generally be removed with a mixture of salt, baking soda and water.  The first step is to create a paste, rub it on the area, and brush off 30 minutes later.  Afterwards, you can use cool water on a damp cloth to take away the excess and allow drying.

If this step does not work, you can make a solution of a homemade stain remover, which is composed of two parts hydrogen peroxide to one part dish soap.  You should gently apply the stain remover to the area and brush it with a cleaning toothbrush and wipe up five minutes later using a cloth damped with cold water.  This can also be used for any unsightly discolorations.

You can also make use of enzyme cleaners like most people do. This helps remove protein stains and prove to be very effective. Just bear in mind to use as little liquid as possible and to make sure your mattress is entirely dried before using it again. This helps in avoiding growing your very own mold spores.  You can also place fans in the room which can speed up the process.

There are other ways to eradicate dust mites and remove spots and stains in your mattress. Your mattress cleaning services can definitely help you with these.
